How to use the site

The technology behind Missing You is very easy to use. Our instant posting system means that all messages on our pages are displayed in their original form - which can make for some lively reading!

To receive useful replies try to ensure that you're posting your message to the correct category.

If you have any geographical information, even if it's only a place of birth, select the appropriate region and enter any town/city information.

If you have no geographical information post your message to the No Regional Info category.

Try to ensure the correct spelling of names and places. If you later realise you have made an error you can amend your message using our MessageMaster system.

Note: Under UK law, it is illegal to try and make contact with an adopted child under 18 years of age.

You can upload scanned photographs to accompany your message. The system will allow .jpg files of up to 30K file size.

To avoid lengthy page download times, photographs are not displayed on our database pages. The camera icon next to a message indicates that a photograph is available.
