My mother was not close to her father James and left her home at 17. Only at her father`s funeral was she made aware there was a baby born after she had left and that the baby was taken by SS and placed for adoption at 6 months old, so we believe her name would have changed. We have her birth record and no other information. We would love to know if she found a safe home and is okay. | |

Theresa`s parents were Joseph and Bridget Toehill nee Wilson and they lived at 113 Hospital St. Theresa`s siblings were Joseph, George, Elizabeth, Mary Ann and Louisa. I believe she went on to marry a man called Francis Meechan and had at least one daughter with him and she possibly passed away in 1953.
